Home/Service/Mobile RV Repair

The shop comes to your driveway.

Five technicians based in Elk Grove, Sacramento, Roseville, Citrus Heights and Grass Valley — so the tech who shows up is usually the one who lives nearest you. Same labor rate as the shop, one $75 call-out per visit, and no towing a 38-foot fifth wheel across town for a furnace board.

Where

Anywhere the rig is parked

We don't care where it lives. What matters is that we can get a truck next to it and a tech under, on top of, or inside it.

Storage

Storage yards

Gate code and a space number is all we need. We can meet the yard's hours, and we'll leave it locked the way we found it.

Home

Your driveway or street

The easiest call of all. Level ground and a place to park a service trailer helps; shore power is a bonus but not required.

Parks

RV parks & campgrounds

Broken down mid-trip? We prioritize these. Most park owners are used to us; tell us the site number.

Full-time

Full-timers

If the rig is your house, moving it isn't an option. We schedule around your day and keep the interior clean.

The quiet reason mobile is better. Your rig never sits in a repair lot. No forklift scrapes, no stolen batteries, no smashed window while it waits on a part, no one else's tech climbing on your roof. It stays where it lives, and we come to it.
Service area. Wilton to Dunnigan, Woodland to Colfax, Folsom to Grass Valley — about a 30-minute drive from the nearest tech in any direction. We no longer run to Stockton, Modesto or Galt. Outside the box? Call anyway; sometimes we're already going that way.

Mobile vs. shop

What we can fix on site (almost everything)

The honest version: about nine jobs in ten finish in your driveway. A few need a bay, a lift, or a roof over the roof.

Done mobile, routinely

  • Appliance repairs — fridge, furnace, water heater, A/C, microwave
  • Slide-out motors, cables, controllers and seals
  • Awning arms, fabric and motors
  • Electrical — converters, inverters, batteries, shore power, 12V
  • Plumbing, water heaters, leaks — and holding tanks, black included
  • Bearings, brakes, shocks and suspension
  • Roof spot seals, vents, skylights, A/C gaskets
  • Steps, jacks, leveling systems
  • Generator service and repair
  • Winterizing, de-winterizing, annual service
  • Pre-purchase and pre-trip inspections
  • Diagnostics on anything that "just stopped working"

Comes into the shop

  • Full roof membrane replacement
  • Major water damage and dry rot
  • Axle replacement and frame work
  • Anything that needs to stay dry for two days

Pricing

How mobile pricing works

ItemMobileIn shop
Labor rate$225 / hr$225 / hr
Call-out fee$75 per visit
DiagnosticBilled at the labor rate; typically one hour, applied to the repair when you approve it
Labor basisFlat-rate by the job from industry labor guides, so the price doesn't change if a bolt fights us
Multiple jobs, one visitOne call-out. Bundle the punch list — it's the cheapest way to use us
Extended warrantyWe bill the administrator; you may owe the difference between our diagnostic and what the contract pays
Bundle the punch list. The $75 call-out is charged once per visit, not once per job. A slide adjustment, a faucet, a step motor and a bearing check on the same day means one trip fee and one tech already on site — each job is still quoted at the labor rate, but you save the extra call-outs and the extra waiting.
Holding tanks — yes, black tanks. Cracked tanks, failed valves, dead sensors, dump-side leaks. Most shops won't touch them, and almost none will do it mobile. We do both, at your site, and we bring what it takes to do it cleanly.
Broken down at a park? Say so when you call. Stranded rigs move to the front of the schedule.

Questions

Mobile repair FAQ

Do you need power or water at the site?

Helpful, not required. Our service trailers carry a generator, compressor and water for most jobs. For a big electrical diagnosis, shore power saves you diagnostic time.

What if it turns out to need the shop?

Then the mobile diagnostic is applied to the shop job, and we'll tell you what it would take to move it — including whether we can tow it for you.

Can you come out the same day?

Sometimes, for a stranded rig. Usually we book a few days out. The service writer will tell you the honest date rather than promise and slip.

Do you do work at dealer lots or for other shops?

Yes — several dealers and repair shops use us as their mobile arm. Call for fleet and trade rates.

A service writer reads every one of these and gets back to you, usually the same business day. If you'd rather just talk it through, call (916) 836-8602.

Goes straight to our service writers. We don't sell or share your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
